From Burnout to Reigniting the Fire Within! đŸ”„

âœšđŸ§˜â€â™€ïžÂ It wasn’t another productivity app that changed everything — it was yoga, meditation, silence, stillness, close contact with nature, digital detox and breath.

While arguably both head and heart have their place in taking on the leading role, it is the “following of the heart” which everybody is talking about in relation to making their dreams come true. Also, even at a very young age, when we are asked to point to the self - we point to the heart.


After years of searching how to achieve heart and head balance, I reached a tipping point in 2019, and I chose to follow my heart: I chose me.


Instead of pushing on, striving to achieve more, I tried something new for me - doing less, using the resources I had to give to myself, rather than to accumulate more.


Tired, wired, unfulfilled — and longing to feel loved — I packed some yoga clothes and spent my savings on a voyage to Bali to participate in a 5 Elements Yoga course.


The intention was to do something special for ME & make MY dreams come true.

What I wasn’t aware of was just how much more I’d benefit from this life enhancing course!

And here’s what I experienced during the practice of 5 Elements Yoga:

🜁 Air: Brought back my joy

🜂 Fire: Reignited my creativity & passion

🜀 Spirit: Showed me who I truly am


These practices weren’t just movement. They were medicine for my nervous system, my self-worth, and my vision for the future.


My burnout hadn’t dissolved through boundaries or time-blocking - but relented when I gave myself permission to rest, listen, and reconnect.


🌀 Sometimes the most radical act of self-care is to stop striving — just long enough to remember who you are.


Here are some tips to reconnect with yourself on the frequency of love and authenticity:


🜁 Practice mindfulness: Enter the temple of stillness through meditation and breath; let the air element guide your awareness to the sacred now.


đŸ’«Â Love your body: Honour your earthly vessel with graceful posture, conscious breath, nourishing food, and joyful movement—it is the temple of your soul.


⚖ Seek balance: Harmonise the rhythm of doing and being, working and resting—like the sun and moon in divine dance.


🜂 Find purpose: Follow the sacred fire within—pursue what lights you up and aligns with your soul's deepest truth.


🌑 Embrace simplicity: Clear the clutter from your physical and energetic space; let the void become fertile ground for magic.


🜃 Cultivate resilience: Root down like the ancient trees—observe, forgive, release, and meet each challenge with compassion and grace.
